VBG Welcomes New Leadership in Government Affairs and Finance
Las Vegas (Dec. 16, 2025) — Veteran Benefits Guide announced the appointment of Osiris Morel as director of government affairs and David Bergstraesser as senior director of finance.
Bergstraesser will oversee VBG’s budgeting and long-range planning, supporting the company’s overall financial strategy. Before joining VBG, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at GenuBank in Las Vegas, where he led the bank’s accounting operations and planning efforts. He brings more than 15 years of experience in banking, accounting and organizational leadership.
Morel will lead VBG’s public policy efforts, strengthening engagement with lawmakers, government agencies and Veteran-focused organizations. She previously served as senior manager of government affairs at Mark Anthony Brands Inc. and held roles with the Qatar Business Council and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. Throughout her career, Osiris has played integral roles in bipartisan legislative campaigns, earning her recognition as one of Washington, D.C.’s Top 100 Lobbyists by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics.
