VBG to Participate in MCON 2025 with Interactive Events, Panel on Veteran Family Life
Las Vegas (Oct. 14, 2025) — Veteran Benefits Guide will bring both entertainment and insight to MCON 2025, participating in a series of engaging activities and a panel discussion focused on the challenges veterans face in balancing family life and careers after military service.
On Saturday, Oct. 25 beginning at 11 a.m., VBG will host an interactive event in partnership with the Professional Bull Riders which also coincides with the PBR Teams Championship Series also being held in Las Vegas Oct. 24 - 26. MCON convention attendees are invited to meet PBR athletes, take photos, get autographs from noon to 1 p.m. Guests can also test their skills on a mechanical bull, all while enjoying refreshments in a saloon-inspired atmosphere.
Later in the afternoon, at 4 p.m., Lisa Kalkes, VBG’s chief marketing officer and vice president of public affairs, will join a featured panel titled “Navigating Veteran Life, Parenthood and Career After Service.” The panel will be moderated by MCON’s founder and partner, Waco Hoover and also includes, Kyleanne Hunter, Ph.D., CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America and Reggie Ordonez, director of programs at Warrior Rising. The discussion will explore the multifaceted transitions veterans face and highlight resources and support systems available to them.
